She creates in several mediums, including colored pencil, oil, acrylic and pastel. She has focused much of her artistic career on the classical approach to oils used by the masters, and continues to be fascinated by the human form. Patricia has been juried into Local and National/International Shows. Last year she was accepted into the Colored Pencil Society’s 2007 15th Annual International Exhibition in Bethesda, MD. She has had her work published in CPSA's To the Point – Magazine of the Colored Pencil Society of America, Drawn to Colored Pencils - the January 2005 Cary News, and selected work on Marvin Mattelson’s website, fineartportrait.comand recently Cary Magazine. Soon to be published in Plein Air Book on North Carolina. Patricia’s work is in the Permanent Collections of First South Bank, Duke Raleigh Hospital, and the Children’s Diabetes and Endocrinology Center WakeMed Hospital. She has numerous works in Private Collections in NC, MD, TN, MS, SC, and Israel.
