Colleen Adair
Art with a Purpose
Colleen is a local potter working out of her home studio in Raleigh. She is a retired dental hygienist who is now enjoying her true passion, creating finely crafted functional wares with a focus on keeping a fresh and updated style. While primarily working on a potter’s wheel, Colleen enjoys altering, stamping, and carving to create texture and movement to an otherwise smooth, round form. Her hope is to fill kitchen cabinets with the warmth and creativity of handmade and what she refers to as “art with a purpose”
